Visitors' Questions during December 2001This page will be revised at the beginning of each month. The following are Hai's and other spirits' responses to miscellaneous questions recently posed by visitors to this web site or by personal visitors. We cannot accept that it will just merely happen. We must make it happen. We must apply ourselves and our leaders must apply themselves.
Q: Do people keep making the same mistakes because they don't stay in the spirit world long
enough before coming back or would they still make their mistakes anyway?
Q: Could you expand on that please?
Q: So if every person on earth was able to do this what would there be?
Q: Would people still have to come to the earth plane to learn?
Q: Are you still on your journey? Hai: We have all got things to learn, myself included. Q: Is there any end to the learning and the education or is it infinite like the universe? Hai: There is no end to the journey. There is identity with the One Mind. There is the return Home. There is the knowledge of who we are. But the expression of who we are involves a never ending journey, an exciting journey. A journey of constant discovery. Q: If I was an evolved soul and knew that I could make a mistake by coming back to earth and maybe be set back I think I would want to quit while I was winning. Hai: (with amusement) You are not gambling and you can cash your chips in! No, this does not work like this. You know, great gains, great advances must be won with great chances. We must be prepared to take risks, to take chances, to learn to move forward, to grow, to develop. If we do not take chances we do not grow, we do not develop. We make mistakes along our way, but no one should blame us for this. For if we make these mistakes in good heart, honest heart, what more can people ask of us? We will make mistakes and we must put up with those mistakes, recognise them and put up with them and acknowledge they are part of our growth. We should not reprimand ourselves too severely for them, for all make mistakes. Some are more conscious of their mistakes than others, but all make mistakes. Question of the Month There was some discussion about people whom many have regarded as saintly, but have been found to commit acts of great immorality. Q: It worries me that you could find yourself doing that when you are a wise soul.Hai: Wise without wisdom. Q: Would he not necessarily have wisdom if he was wise? Hai: You have answered your own question. You walk up the hill and you step on some mud and you slip backwards. Having been up the hill is no avail to you. Having seen the sights on the top of the hill is no avail to you when you have slipped back on the mud slide to the half way point. Karma, the debt of karma is greater for this, of course, for you have seen the vision at the summit; you have seen the view, the landscape, from the summit, but have slipped back. Q: I suppose it's one thing to reach the pinnicle, but it's another to maintain yourself at that level. It's probably a very difficult thing to do. Hai: The Zen masters say when you have had the enlightenment experience the work begins. There are those who have the enlightenment experience and that's all it is, an experience which is forgotten in the mists of time eventually. There are those who have the experience and apply themselves for a short time after to try to integrate the experience into their lives. There are those who have the experience and apply themselves with rigour to integrate the experience into their lives and manifest the Heart which they have seen. But it is work to do this. We must apply ourselves in patience endurance and compassion. Q: Did you opt for the last option when you had the experience? Hai: I endeavoured to opt for the last form of expression. Q: Do you think you were successful or did you slip in the mud? Hai: We all slip in the mud, but there are mud patches and there are mountains of mud. Q: Why are you smiling when you say that to me Hai Hai: We do well if we can just restrict our slipping to slipping on the patches of mud, little slip which may be rectified more easily than slipping on the mountain of mud.
