Please take account of the following information:

• Please make every effort to arrive on time for sessions as lateness can impact on sessions for other clients. If you are late the time allocated to your session may have to be curtailed to avoid this.



• If you are unable to attend a session please inform me as early as possible by telephone or email. This enables me to try to use the time allocation for someone else. I also spend a significant amount of time preparing for your session in advance of your arrival. Unless there are exceptional circumstances eg: last minute illness, please give me 24 hrs advance notice for cancelling a particular session.



• Try not to arrange sessions at times when you are likely to be under a lot of stress eg: after a hectic morning or an important business meeting, or after a stressful event. Such circumstances may interfere with your ability to relax.



• If you request a personalised hypnotherapy CD please note the following:



• The CD will be tailored to you for your personal use. It is not designed for use by other people.



• You must not play the CD in any context which requires you to be active with your eyes open eg: driving. You should try to ensure that you will not be disturbed, then sit in a relaxing chair or lie down on a bed, close your eyes and listen to the CD, preferably using headphones.



• You should note the instruction that if anything occurs in the outside world which will require your attention you will be able to mentally count yourself back to full alertness by counting from 5 to 1 at which point you will become fully alert.



• After listening to the CD give yourself some time to become fully engaged with the outside world again before undertaking active tasks such as driving.

"Tranquil Spirit" is a short distance from Stockport Town Centre and Railway Station and on the main bus route between Stockport and Bramhall. Davenport Railway Station (on the Manchester to Buxton/Hazel Grove line) is ten minutes walk away. The M60 Manchester Outer Ring Road is a short distance away (coming the west and south of Manchester via the Cheadle or Stockport junctions; from the east via the junction after Bredbury, signposted for Stockport) with good links to the M56, M6 and M62. We can provide fuller directions at the time of arranging a visit.

If you do not live nearby and it would be difficult for you to travel to us it may still be possible for us to do a home visit if you live in the Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire areas bordering on Greater Manchester.
